Trevor's kind of weekend...

This past weekend we had a "Trevor's kind of weekend" :)  We went to the Prewett's hunting lease to get all geared up for the the beginning of deer season in early November.  Trevor's dad got out there early on Saturday and got the house all cleaned up.  We, however, accidently slept in a little on Saturday morning and arrived once all the dirty work was finished :)  Trevor helped his dad move out the old refrigerator and bring in a "new" one, fish some forks out of the drain in the sink, and install a new flapper in the toilet tank.  I watch the Texas OU game :)  Then we headed out on the four wheeler to inspect all of the blinds, clean them out, and trim the brush around them.  Heres are some pics of the boys hard at work.

While they did their manly things I entertained myself by taking some pictures of the beauty around us.

I loved the view of the trees in the distance at one of the blinds that we stopped at and and the lighting was so great... I couldn't resist asking the men to stop their manly activities and have a photo shoot :)
This was my view most of the afternoon.  The front of the four wheeler and the tree trimer :)

We had a yummy hamburger dinner and the boys watched Robin Hood while I fell asleep reading :) The next morning we got up and the boys did a final lap around the place while I packed up and the we headed out.  Now, if that was all we did this weekend Trevor would have been a happy man.  However, once we got back home we were invited to go out to the Kennedy Ranch to Kylie's dads lease to do a little dove hunting.  We quickly got back in the car and drove out there with the gang.  Here are some pictures from our time out there:

The boys all caught their limit and the girls killed our limit of clay pigeons so it was a pretty successful trip!  Overall it was really a "Trevor's kinda of weekend" but I enjoyed just spending time with him in his element!  I love that we have our own definition of the perfect weekend but we can both be content spending time with the other in their element.
