My kind of weekend...

A couple of weekends ago Trevor and I went to Kerrville for the weekend with no big agenda.  My dad has a booth at the Fredricksburg Trade Days so we have gone a couple of times to see him and shop around.  We still have a small list of things that we are looking for for the house so we thought we might try our luck at Trade Days to see if they might have what we want.  After thinking it through a little I decided that Trade Days is so close to one of my favorite places in the hill country, Enchanted Rock ( the second largest granite dome in the U.S.), so why not make a whole day of it?!  After convincing Trevor that it would be a good opportunity to try out his new hiking boots, we were on the road to Kerrville with our hiking gear in tow.  We spent the night with my parents on Friday and headed to Fredrickburg Saturday morning.  We decided to go to Enchanted Rock first while it was still cool outside.  We did the Loop Trail around the rock and enjoyed one of the first days that actually felt like fall.  After we stopped for this picture and Trevor's boots we throughly broken in we headed down the rock and off to Trade Days.
We didn't end up finding what we were looking for at Trade Days but we had a lot of fun shopping around anyway! Here's a picture of my dad in his booth at Trade Days

Then we went back to Kerrville and were so pooped we ended up just watching football on the couch the rest of the day.  My mom cooked a yummy dinner (p.s. mom I want the recipe for southwest shepherds pie!) and my grandparents come over to eat with us.  The next morning we got up and went to church at the church that I went to in high school and love, Impact Christian Fellowship.  We met up with these crazy kids there:
