Ruby's 1st Birthday

Our baby girl turned 1 on Christmas Eve!  We celebrated her birthday at her grandparents house in Houston.  She spent most of the morning resting up for her party.

For her party we invited our friend Jennifer and her puppy, Abby, over to play.

Ruby and Abby were fast friends.  First Ruby showed Abby around her grandparents backyard.

Then they quickly turned the party into a pool party.

We finally coaxed them out of the pool and took a walk to the park down the street.

Then we came home and opened presents.

The rest of her day was spent locked up in the laundry room while the fam went to the Christmas Eve service at church and then out for our traditions Chinese dinner.  Poor baby!  But we finally came home and let her out to play before going to bed early so Santa could come :)  I think she really enjoyed her 1st birthday!
