Christmas eve we went to the Christmas eve service at church and then out to our traditional Chinese dinner with friends.
We woke up super early on Christmas morning to start the day. Following with tradition we all woke up and sat at the top of the stairs for a picture before we all race down the stairs to see if Santa came!
We spent the morning opening stockings and watching everyone open their gifts. Bethany is the best at playing Santa and passing out all the presents!
Ruby had lots of fun running around and taring up wrapping paper. Here is our festive Ruby the the red-haired reindeer:
Soon after we finished opening gifts the rest of the family all came over. All of the cousins except for one were able to be there for Christmas this year! We spent the rest of the day catching up with everyone, eating tons of yummy food, watching basketball, and celebrating Christmas!
Clayton got a remote control helicopter this year so we all had fun playing with it. Ruby, however, was not a fan! She was curious about it at first but then we started chasing her around with it and she quickly decided she needed to take care of it or it was going to take care of her.
The last pictures that I took on Christmas were of our little family warming up by the fire and being festive :)
We had a very merry Christmas this year!
The next day was Trevor's Grandpa's Birthday so the whole family came back over to celebrate. We grilled some burgers and had brownies and ice cream to celebrate. He laughed the whole time we sang happy birthday and when we were finished he said he was laughing so hard because we were horrible at singing :)
We were sad to leave this party but it was getting late and Trevor had to work the next morning. But, it was a great way to end a great holiday! We sadly said all our goodbyes and got on the road back to Corpus.

I just found your blog and your photos are amazing! I love seeing all your family pictures. I come from a large family in Michigan but I am now living in Ontario, Canada. It is nice to see all your 'American' adventures. My family hunts and fish and we love our get-togethers. I am sure I will visit your blog often :)
