We went and got our Christmas tree on the first Sunday of Advent. We came in from spending Thanksgiving in Kerrville that afternoon, unloaded the car, and then headed to Home Depot to pick out our tree. We got there just as they were closing, but they let us in to quickly find a tree. In keeping with tradition we picked out a noble fur. We loaded up the tree and picked up a pizza on the way home to eat while we set up the tree. We set it up and got it all decorated in record time this year. I put on my fireplace blue ray that has the image of a crackling fire and plays Christmas music as we decorated the house for Christmas. Unfortunately it was a little too hot for hot chocolate this year :(
Ruby thinks we have lost our minds because we brought a real tree inside the living room and put lights on it and hung all of these round sparkly balls on the branches. And her mom keeps getting this roll of paper and covering boxes with it and then tying them up with ribbon. Then she puts them under the tree and expects her not to eat them. She is very confused by it all! She keeps gently taking the ornaments off the tree with her mouth and bringing them to us, its like a never ending game of fetch.
Speaking of Ruby, look how cute she looks wearing her new Christmas trapper hat sitting by the tree. Notice there aren't too many ornaments left at the bottom of the tree :)
So impressed that A) you were able to put that headband on your puppy and B) that you got her to sit still long enough to take a picture (and she's looking at the camera)!!
