Not the best picture. Trevor was looking out the window, so you can see a little bit of him. They had a treadmill folded up in the corner where I stood to take the picture, and you get a special sneak peak into the bathroom. :)
First thing we did was take down the curtains and rods. Then we painted, tore up the carpets, took the mirrored closet doors down, had the wood floors redone and new closet doors hung. We also got to get all new furniture for this room since we used our old stuff (which was Trevor's college furniture) in the guest bedroom. And tada....
I didn't take a picture of the new closet doors because that wall just had the hallway door, two closet doors, and a bathroom door.... pretty boring. But if you are really dying to see what it looks like, go back to the office before and afters because we used the same closet doors in there. Two fun things that I want to note in this room are the candles and the picture on the wall. The candles on the dresser are our unity candles from our wedding. The big white one on the left side of the dresser is the unity candle and the two smaller white ones on the right are our individual ones that we used to light the unity candle with. Ainslee broke one as she was "helping" us move in, but I guess it gives it a little character and a fun story to tell her one day... along with the story of how she single-handedly managed to stall our wedding ceremony due to a massive diaper blowout as her momma was about to walk down the aisle as our matron of honor. The other thing I love in the room is the picture hanging on the wall. I had a picture that Johnna took out of at the ranch in Hempstead blown up and framed and surprised Trevor with it while we were still putting the house all together. I love the composition of the picture, but I really love the significance that the place has for Trevor and his family and that we can have a piece of it in our own home!
