I think I was pretty well hidden except for those pink rubber boots :) But it was really muddy so those were very necessary. I passed time in the tree by taking a lot of pictures:
"Hey Trevor"
"look over here"
"no really look AT me"
"thank you, now was that so hard?"
We just did a lot of watching that evening, but the next morning apparently there was a deer massacre. I say apparently because I have made it a new tradition to sleep through the morning hunt! But I hear that between the two of them they shot 7 does and spikes. The boys had a great time hunting, they kept talking about how it was so much more fun when you actually shoot things. I had a great relaxing morning sleeping in and staying warm reading in my sleeping bag.
We headed back to Corpus in the early afternoon and had friends over that night for dinner, dessert, drinks, and dominoes for Bill's birthday. We also made gingerbread men and decorated them... well the girls did at least. Here are some pictures of our gingerbread men making:
And a shot of the birthday boy with his cake:
Sunday we went to church and saw Bill and Sarah's niece, Olivia, get baptized. Then we went to lunch with Johnna and Robbie. After a filling lunch we decided to take our much neglected bikes out for a ride. We rode from our house to Ocean Drive and then followed the sea wall all the way the Selena statue. I kinda forgot that we had to ride back home too! I was doing fine all the way there and then started to feel it on the way home. Man, I am out of shape! I am definitely feeling it today :( We finished the weekend off with a little 42 with Austin and Kylie, and then came home and slept like sore babies.

I THINK YOU ARE MISSING A FEW COOKIE DECORATIONS
