Ainslee's Birthday Party and A Trip to Austin

Ainslee turned two this past week... she is growing up so fast!  We went to her birthday party in San Antonio this weekend.  It snowed there on Friday, so we were happy to see the sun on Saturday morning for the outdoor party at the park!  It was still a little chilly, but we all bundled up and had a great time eating pizza and cupcakes.

Then we went back to their house to open gifts with the family.
Ainslee got a play kitchen complete with play food and an apron made by Grammy.  Grammy also made matching aprons for Cara and I!

Then she opened a set of play tools from Grandma and Grandpa Gilbreath!

Of course the Grandpas had to get in with fun with all the new tools.  Not too sure who was more excited about the new toys, Grandpa, Pop, or Ainslee?

And here she is modeling the new kitty lunch bag from Aunt Yo and Uncle Twevor.

After the party Trevor and I headed to Austin to see some good friends!  Adam took the LSATs that morning so Kara threw him a party to celebrate having his life back.  Went to dinner with Mallory, Price, and Logan before the party and watched a little of the Big 12 Championship game.  We got to the party in time to see t.u. just barely pull it off!  It was so good to see so many friends that we hadn't seen in a while.  Congrats Adam!

We spent the night at Mal's house and had a lazy morning while we waited for Rob to get in town.  When he got in we went to lunch at Hula Hut (my favorite)!  We were at Trevor's old stomping grounds on Lake Austin so we had to take a picture! These are sadly the only pics I got while we where in Austin:

It was a great weekend! Thanks to all who hosted/ entertained us!!
