Baby P {40 Weeks}

I took this picture right before heading to my 40 week appointment this morning.  Trevor and I have been taking the weekly pictures on Sundays and I actually mark the weeks on Tuesdays.  So I didn't take the 39 week picture until this past Sunday and I am 40 weeks today (on a Tuesday) so it's not very different.  But I think different clothes show the bump a little better.  Hopefully I will have this baby before  we get a chance to take our traditional weekly picture this week so I'll post this one for now :)

how far along?  40 weeks

how are you measuring?  They didn't measure again

size of baby? Baby is the size of a small pumpkin, somewhere around 7 1/2 lbs and 20 inches long.

heartbeat?  120s-170s

total weight gain/loss? +26.5 lbs (I actually lost half a pound this week)

maternity clothes? wearing the few things that fit over and over again :)

stretch marks? ugh, that might be the #1 reason I want this baby to come sooner than later, the longer its in there the more pronounced the few stretch marks around my belly button become.
sleep? Not too bad, I really can't complain.

best moment this week? Reaching our due date!  

movement? they are getting more painful

food cravings? I think I am getting my 1st trimester aversions back :(

gender predictions? Officially: Lauren says boy & Trevor says girl.  I haven't really had many dreams about the baby lately but I had a vivid boy dream the other night so I am going to make boy my new official guess.

what i miss: Being able to move normally

what i'm looking forward to: Meeting Baby P! 

how are you feeling? So so.  I will feel good while I am out running last minute errands, but once I slow down and start to feel it.  I'm having a ton on Braxton Hicks contractions, which are getting a little more painful.  We had our last Dr. appt. this morning and they hooked me up to the monitor for a while.  My Dr. got excited when she saw that I was contracting pretty regularly but then checked me and I'm not making a ton a progress so we went ahead and set up an induction date for this Sunday, June 3rd.  But she thought that I might be able to go into labor naturally before then.  I love my Dr. and she will be out of town this Friday and Saturday so I'm hoping this baby will either hurry up and come before Friday or wait until Sunday so she can be there to deliver.  Either way, this will be my last Baby P pregnancy update!  We will have a baby by this time next week!
