Baby P and I were showered with love a few weeks back at our very first baby shower in Houston. Three of my besties, Mallory, Sarah, and Johnna, threw the shower and it turned out so amazing. They stuck with the nursery colors which are grey, navy, and yellow. The decorations were so cute and I can use them to decorate the nursery now!
The food was super yummy too! We had chicken salad sandwiches (made with my favorite chicken salad from tres market in Houston), a diy yogurt parfait bar, fruit with dip, crackers with dips, muffins and mini quiches with yummy cake balls and cupcakes for dessert! Not only were they yummy, but they were also super cute with fun toppers welcoming Baby Prewett :)
They had a little station set up where everyone could write down their "keys to a happy family" and hang them on these branches. I can't wait to find a place to keep them somewhere in the nursery for inspiration during those late nights we will have in there :)
Baby P was loved on a lot by friends and family at the shower, but I think he/she might be shy because he/she wasn't putting on too much of a show. Only a few kicks for a select few :)
Baby P is already so spoiled and we received tons of fun toys, essentials, and goodies! I wish I would've taken a picture of the gift pile of before I opened them or of the loot pile after everything was opened. We all said that baby P could come now because we have everything he/she needs, but then decided we should probably let him/her cook a little bit longer :)
