Baby P {34 Weeks}

how are you measuring? 34 weeks

size of baby? Baby is 18 inches long, about 4.75 pounds, and the weight of an average canteloupe 

heartbeat? 150's bpm

total weight gain/loss? +21 lbs.  so down 1 lb. from last week.

maternity clothes? most of my maternity clothes are already too small... looks like I'll be wearing muumuus the rest of this pregnancy.  

stretch marks? I don't think so.  Lots of veins though.
sleep? not too bad!  Looking forward to sleeping in my own bed for the first time in 3 or 4 days tonight.

best moment this week? I had a great long weekend spending a few days in Port A with good friends, then going to Kerrville for a baby shower!

movement? I think baby is running out of room in there, less kicks and punches and more rolling around these days.  Trevor got to come to my appointment with me this week and we watched the heartbeat monitor for a while and baby wasn't super active so the Dr. came in and "buzzed" the baby with this thing that makes a buzzing noise and vibrates which is supposed to stimulate the baby.  It def. worked! Baby was moving around like crazy after that and even got over stimulated which gave him/her hiccups.  Me, Trevor, and the Dr. all sat there and watched my belly bounce up with each hiccup and could hear the hiccups on the monitor!  They made us wait until the baby's heartbeat went back down to its resting rate, which took so long they finally let us go since it was going down a little :)

food cravings? Still wanting an icee or snowcone, I think I'm going to have to break down and get one this week!

gender predictions? I had another vivid girl dream last night.  She looked just like Trevor with his bright blue eyes but had dark down hair, she was beautiful!

what i miss: being somewhat graceful :) I am anything but these days!

what i'm looking forward to: We brought the last piece of furniture for the nursery (the changing table)home from Kerrville today so I can't wait to get all the final touches finished in the nursery! I am also looking forward to my LAST day of work this week!!  I will miss the structure of having a job and the great people I work for/with, but I am looking forward to getting completely ready for this baby to come and checking things off my to do lists!
