Easter 2011

This year was the 20th annual Family Camp out at Laity Lodge on Easter weekend.  We had a smaller group this year, but still had an amazing time. Here are some of the highlights of the weekend.

We headed to Kerrville when everyone left camp and made it there in time for Easter lunch with these cuties.

Ruby had spent the weekend with her grandparents & Aunt, Uncle, and cousins in Kerrville.  She had fun playing with her cousin Ainslee in her big backyard.  But I think she was still happy to see us.

It was great to get to see both sides of our family for Easter again.  We took a family picture with my side of the family, but its on Cara's camera.  All I have is a picture of the two of us.

I always look forward to Easter.  We always have a great time out at camp and with family, but more importantly it is a great time to refocus on our Risen Lord.  And I can't think of a better place to do that than on the banks of the frio river watching the birds soar through the canyon.
