We have had weekend guests come stay with us the past two weekends. A few weekends ago Trevor's parents came to Corpus to hang out with us. Trevor's dad loves to have a project to work on while they are here so he brought a trailer full of supplies to make the herb garden I have been wanting! Trevor and his dad worked hard all Saturday afternoon making it, while Trevor's mom and I watched and documented with pictures :) Here's the progress:
We are still waiting a few weeks to actually plant the herbs, but I can't wait! Of course all the hard work didn't go unrewarded, we stopped by one of the new cupcake shops in town to sample some of the goodies.
We also enjoyed eating out at one of our favorite restaurants on the island, Black Sheep, shopping, and cooking dinner together. We always love it when they come to town!
