This weekend we had our second annual mother's day picnic. There might have been more than this, but this was the second time that Trevor and I were able to make it. Uncle Rob reserved a pavilion in Canyon Park, right on Canyon Lake. Most of mom's side of the family was able to make it this year, and I don't think I had seen some of them since last Mother's Day so I was good to see everyone. I tried to get a picture of each mother with her child/ children. I think I got everyone but Cara with Ainslee and her a bun in the oven!

Ruby had fun running around all day at the park, and eventually pooped out. Ainslee decided to join her for a nap :)
The Gilbreaths brought their boat out and Ainslee and I went for a boat ride with the boys. She started out by playing captain and driving the boat, but within about 2 minutes of being aboard she was lulled to sleep bundled up in her life jacket and Aunt Cathy's jacket.
It started raining on us out on the lake, but we didn't let it stop us from enjoying our boat ride!
