Baby P {30 Weeks}

how far along?  30 weeks

how are you measuring?  ???

size of baby? Baby is 15.7 inches long, almost 3 pounds, like a head of cabbage.  

heartbeat? 150bpm

total weight gain/loss? ??? we will find out this week at my appt. my guess would be +20 lbs.

maternity clothes? they are a must, some of them are already getting too small... eek!

stretch marks? I don't think so... can't really see my belly too well these days though.

sleep? not too bad, I've been getting really hot at night so I've mostly been just covering up with the sheet.

best moment this week? making progress in the nursery! I also attended my first MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers) meeting today :) Some of my mommy friends just started a new group this year but they are always on Monday mornings and I usually work then.  But I had today off and the scheduled activity was someone from the red cross coming to teach infant/child crp and first aid.  I figured it was a good time to try it out!

movement? oh yes! I will be watching tv and can see my stomach moving out of the corner of my eye.  I finally got it on video this week.  I also felt hiccups this week! I was sitting in church listening to the sermon and had my legs crossed and arms folded on top of my belly and both my belly, arm, and leg started bouncing every few seconds and it lasted for probably 5-10 minutes!

food cravings? I've really been wanting an Icee, but haven't given into that craving yet.

gender predictions? Really no clue. At this point I'm not leaning one way or the other.  However, a stranger in the Hobby Lobby parking lot asked if it was a girl and I told her we didn't know yet and she then proceeded to look me over, front and back, and tell me that I was going to have a girl.  She was very convinced too, she told me I'm lucky because she has all boys.  I don't think I'm going to run out and buy lots of pink just yet though :)  Oh and she also rubbed all over my belly...in the parking lot.  Not sure if its just Corpus or not, but strangers around here have loved touching the belly and telling me what I am going to have, all of them have said boy before her though.

what i miss:  Eating normal portions at normal times and not worrying if the food will cause acid reflux. 

what i'm looking forward to: My spa day that Trevor got me for my birthday is this Wednesday and then we are going to Houston for my first baby shower this weekend!  It's gonna be a good week!

how are you feeling? Pretty good! A little acid reflux, an achy back if I'm not sitting/laying in just the right position, and really sore heels.  I think I have been on my feet too much lately and usually by the end of the day my heels hurt just to stand.  My right heel even feels numb.  I plan on asking the Dr. about this at my appointment on Wednesday.  But besides those few things I'm really loving being pregnant right now! 

Funny Trevor quote this week: I was trying to find a dress for my shower and I found one I liked okay at Motherhood Maternity.  I took a picture in the mirror in the dressing room of me in the dress and sent it to Trevor to see if he liked it.  His response was, "Sure.  Looks pretty mom like doesn't it? I guess that's what you will be though." Ha!
