Baby P {24 Weeks}

how far along?  24 weeks
how are you measuring?  ??
size of baby? almost a foot long, weighs just over a pound, as long as an ear of corn
heartbeat? 157 bpm (at our 20 week appointment)
total weight gain/loss? +14 lbs....eek! I stepped on a scale for the first time this week and according to that scale I'm up 14 lbs.  We will see how that compares to the scale at the doctors office when I go this week!
maternity clothes? almost always, I was folding laundry from this week and realized that all the clothes I wore this past week were maternity.
stretch marks? I don't want to talk about it :) Trevor said he saw one but I couldn't see it... still trying to lotion up as often as I can!
sleep? pretty good, loving the boppy maternity pillow a friend loaned me!
best moment this week? I made a quick trip to Houston and got to do all the ikea shopping I've been dying to do.  I got lots of goods for the nursery and had fun picking them all out with my MIL, SIL, and Johnna!
movement? Some days its up in my ribs and other days it down lower so I guess this baby is moving all over.  Yesterday I was running around all day and got to actually sit down around 3 times and each time I was still the baby would start kicking.
food cravings? nothing crazy, but I'm a sucker for commercials now.  If there is a commercial for anything but hamburgers I usually want it.  Yesterday I saw a commercial for the new reese's peanut butter cup minis and I had to get some while I was out running errands :)
gender predictions? Trevor's mom did the test where you dangle your wedding ring on a string above your belly and see which way it dangles.  We tried it laying on the couch and laying on the carpet just to see if that would effect it all and and both times is was...BOY.  So between all the vivid dreams I've had about it being a boy and this test I am now leaning towards boy.
what i miss:  nothing!
what i'm looking forward to: The entire Gilbreath family is coming to help us get the nursery/house together and celebrate Cara and Jason's birthdays.  We have a couple projects up our sleeves and I think after we get it all done I can start decorating the nursery!
how are you feeling? Feeling good! I've got some energy back so I'm trying to get as much done while it lasts! No big symptoms this week, which I've been enjoying.  Trevor has been sick all weekend so I am trying to take care of him but keep my distance!
