Way back in August (i'm a little behind in blogging) we had a surprise party for Johnna's birthday. I didn't get a whole group shot but we had a pretty big, fun crowd. We decided we knew we were getting old because we had two babies and two puppies at the party that kept us entertained. But what's cuter than a baby playing with a puppy??
For the past 4 years I've had the tradition to make Johnna's birthday cake. It started in 2008 when Mallory and I made her these cupcakes.
The next year, in 2009, I made her one of my first multi-layered cakes.
Last year, in 2010, I decided to start asking Johnna what she wanted on her cakes. So that year she requested a Marlin cake, and this is what I came up with.
This year I once again asked if she had any requests and she asked for a Vizsla cake since she has two Vizslas. I wasn't feeling as creative as last year with the 3D animals, but this is what I came up with.

We ended the night with Cobalt giving Ruby some love...
And Ruby returning the love with a kiss.
