Hattie Turns 1!

Our baby niece Hattie just turned 1!  I can't believe she has been around for a whole year now, it seems like it was just a few months ago that I was rushing to the hospital in San Antonio trying to get there on time to meet her.  We went up to Kerrville for the weekend last weekend to celebrate with the birthday girl.  We got in on Friday just in time for a birthday dinner at Grammy's house.  All day Saturday was spent getting ready for the birthday party.  Cara came up with an "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream" theme for the party.  I made some ice cream cone cupcakes and a smash cake for Hattie.  I think it's safe to say that she liked them :)

Hattie was a party animal and loved having lots of friends over and eating lots of cake and ice cream.  Happy Birthday Hattie Cakes, I love you!
