I was scared of chopping everything back so much so they kept trying to do it when I turned by back :) It pretty much looks like piles of sticks now, but they kept reassuring me that it will grow back in a couple of months and be beautiful again! We pruned the rose bush back and then they fanned it out and tied it up to the fence so it will start growing along the fence. I think it is going to look really pretty. Here is a before and after of the rose bush:

The rest of the plants I was too scared to take the 'after' pictures of! But just try to imagine sticks growing out of the ground and thats what the rest of the beds look like :) We did get to plant new Geraniums in the planter boxes in the front. The Begonias that were in there were struggling, and there weren't enough planted for the space so we took them out and put them in pots to try to get them healthy again. I DID take some pictures of us planting the flowers.

TA DA!
I love them! We had so much playing in the yard all day Saturday. We finished off the day by grilling some steak, eating a yummy dinner, and watching the movie UP. We slept in the next morning and they got on the road to make it back to Houston in time to watch the Super Bowl. We had a great weekend and were blessed with great weather and even better in-laws :) Thanks for everything, love y'all!

Ainslee says, "pretty flowers!" We can't wait to see them in person this weekend!!!
