We (mostly Trevor and Ruby) have had a busy dove season. Trevor has gone on lots of little hunts around Corpus with his buddies. We have also gone to a friends ranch for a big hunt on opening weekend and gone to the hunting lease in Cuero with the family. The only time I have actually gotten my camera out to take pictures is the weekend we went to Cuero. These pics are from our second hunt of the trip on Saturday morning... hence the sleep eyes :)
For the first time ever I got a hunting license this year so I actually got to participate in the hunt instead of only taking pictures. I shot my first dove on Saturday morning. Here is Ruby doing her job and bringing me my bird.
And the last shot is the whole group after the Saturday morning hunt with our all of our birds.
So far we've had a fun and successful dove season. I've only shot that one bird, but I still consider that a success :)
